IAG's Trades Scholarship Programme now open for intake

21 May, 2019

IAG New Zealand's core business is based around helping more than one million New Zealanders recover when misfortune strikes. Our purpose is to make your world a safer place, which we see each year as IAG settles around half a million claims.

It goes without saying, then, that IAG relies on trade partners to help put things right and it’s vitally important that any repair work is carried out by experts. To make this happen we need the expertise and skills of people across a range of professions and disciplines.

IAG has been supporting its trade industry networks for the last 17 years through the IAG Trades Scholarship Programme. Each year the programme inducts and supports new apprentices through the duration of their respective apprenticeship, to achieve the end goal of being trade-qualified and providing valuable management training for collision repairer administrators.

IAG partners with both MITO NZ and BCITO. These two industry training organisations provide the essential infrastructure and support for each apprentice to complete their courses.

To find out more about the requirements of an apprenticeship, head to either the MITO or BCITO websites to learn more.
