Codes and Policies

Code of Ethics

We take ethical and responsible decision-making very seriously. We expect our employees and directors to do the same, as reflected in our internal policies around ethics and conduct.

Our Code of Ethics and Conduct starts with our purpose and sets out the behaviours expected of everyone at IAG. This instills trust and creates confidence that we will deliver the best outcomes and value for our stakeholders. Our people should use our Code to help them do the right thing and to speak up when something is not right. It is also designed to help all of us manage risks and comply with the laws and regulations that apply to us. Our Code is supported by policies, standards and procedures.

Key components of our code are:

  • We manage risk and comply with laws
  • We make our customers' world safer
  • We make our communities safer
  • We make our workplaces safer
  • We act with honesty and integrity

Reporting ethical concerns

IAG has a number of mechanisms in place to allow our people to report ethical concerns, and these are set out in our Code of Ethics & Conduct.

All concerns will be taken seriously and addressed in a thorough and professional manner. When potential misconduct is reported, we will investigate and take appropriate action.

IAG will not tolerate retaliation in any form against people who, in good faith, report suspected ethical or legal misconduct or policy violations.

Our supplier code of conduct

We care about how our suppliers manage their operations and suppliers, and the impacts they have on our customers and communities.

Our Supplier Code of Conduct clarifies our expectations of our suppliers and partners to:

  • comply with all relevant laws and regulations
  • comply with IAG’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements
  • provide a true and accurate account of their operations and supply chain when responding to request for information
  • promptly advise IAG of any non-compliance with the Code
  • have processes in place that allow for workers to report non-compliance with the Code
  • remedy any non-compliance with the Codes a matter of highest priority

Reportable Conduct

If our suppliers and people working along our supply chain become aware of IAG misconduct, such as improper behaviour, illegal activity or fraud, they can report it anonymously by calling:
